Program Description
Our week-long camps are designed to introduce high school aged boys and girls to the sport of rowing. This camp will run from 1PM - 3PM Monday through Friday. To ensure social distancing, the camp will focus on learning to row in single sculls (single person boats), and different methods of training: running, erging (rowing machine), and water rowing.
Participants are expected to be energetic and bring a positive attitude. Athletes will be interacting with a variety of other athletes, coaches, and staff and should be intent on learning and having a great time!
For high school athletes looking for something new, this coed camp is a great way to find out if rowing might be a good fit. There will be 1-3 coaches per program. The maximum number of participants per session is 9 (due to space and equipment limitations).
Cost:
The cost is $350 per week. Camp fee includes an LGRC Learn To Row T-shirt. At the conclusion of the camp, athletes are encouraged to sign up for the Novice Summer Rowing Program.

All participants must bring a hard copy of a completed 2020 USRowing Waiver AND Swim Waiver to their first day of camp.
