Brittany Manrubia
Novice Masters Coach

Brittany is LGRC's novice masters rowing coach who helps beginner adults develop their basic rowing skills. Brittany started coaching in 2013.

Prior to coaching, Brittany obtained a B.S. Degree in Kinesiology, Sport Management, from San Jose State University, where she founded the SJSU rowing club. Brittany began rowing in SJSU's very first Beginning Rowing class, in 2011.

She has also worked for over fifteen years as a swim instructor and three years as a high school tennis coach. Brittany is very passionate about coaching and an advocate for physical activity.

Mandy Chan
Novice Masters Coach

Mandy is an LGRC novice masters rowing coach, who helps beginner adults develop their basic sweep rowing skills. Her rowing career began in Baltimore, Maryland where a coworker invited her to attend a learn to row session at the Baltimore Rowing Club. She was immediately hooked, and eventually joined the club as a masters rower on the open team. After moving to Northern California for a job, Mandy began rowing at LGRC in 2021 and became a coach in 2023.

Keith Stokes

Keith is a masters rowing coach, who helps beginner adults develop their basic sweep and sculling rowing skills and is available for private sculling lessons. Keith started coaching in 2021.

Prior to coaching, Keith competed as an LGRC masters rower since his start as an LGRC novice rower in 2013, until the call was made for more coaches. As such, Keith is able to draw upon his experiences as an LGRC rower when coaching athletes who are new to rowing and/or new to LGRC.

Keith has worked in information technology for about 40 years and since his professional retirement is excited to focus on rowing (and swimming, yoga, and samba drumming) without work having to get in the way. Keith is married (to a non-rower, not sure how that works, but it does) and lives in San José.

Marc Roskow
Advanced Masters Coach

Marc is LGRC's Advanced Masters Coach, working with our members to help them improve their skills on and off the water.
