Middle School Program 1 (MSP1) Information & Registration
Qualification: Grades 6 - 8, No previous experience required
Dates: Wednesday, September 11- Friday November 1, 2019
Schedule: Wednesday and Friday, 4pm - 6pm.

MSP1 is a non-competitive program for all 6th and 7th graders regardless of previous experience and 8th graders who have never rowed before. The program meets twice a week for 2 hours and is 10 weeks long. There is a fall session and a spring session. Coaches introduce young athletes to two different roles - rower and coxswain - and allow interested athletes to try both. Midway through the program, parents have the opportunity to meet with coaches to discuss their athlete's progress. MSP1 has limited enrollment and is often full.
