Competitive Novice Development Camp - 2024
LGRC Boathouse • Lexington Reservoir

Participants:
  • For all athletes entering 9th and 12th grades, and those entering the 8th grade that are born in 2011.
  • Rowers must have completed a Summer Junior Learn to Row Camp or the Middle-School Rowing Program.
  • We will have rolling enrollment throughout the summer.

Program
Description:

This camp will focus on preparing the athletes for the Novice and U15 Competitive programs in the Fall of 2024, by building fitness, and developing technical abilities.  Athletes will engage in both coached water time and fitness training each week. The program will be led by the LGRC Coaching Staff.  Each coach will be responsible for 8-12 athletes per water session.  Athletes will train in sweep and sculling boats to include 1x’s, 2x’s, 4x’s, 2-‘s, 4+’s and 8’s.

  • June 24 - August 8. (6 weeks, 24 sessions) No practice July 1-5.
  • MTWTh: 1:30 - 4:00PM
