May 2, 2020 Update
The Club is in contact with the Santa Clara County Parks Department and no official information has been provided regarding the reopening of Lexington reservoir for vessels yet. The Boathouse remains closed.
The Boathouse and Equipment Committee is meeting to discuss and plan our boathouse reopening so that we are prepared to do so once we receive approval from the Santa Clara County Parks Department.
Once the Club opens, we likely will need to adhere to monitored social distancing and disinfection of equipment to safely re-open and keep us in-line with county guidelines. More information will be provided when we are able to finalize those plans.
Thank you for your continued patience.

The boathouse remains closed to all members and activities as the shelter in place continues. Lexington Reservoir County Park is also closed at this time so access to the parking lot in front of the boathouse is also closed.
The Junior spring racing season has been cancelled and it is likely that the masters races in May will also be cancelled.
Summer Camps and Learn to Row sessions are being planned, but we do not have start dates yet for those programs. We also need to find out what guidelines or limits may be put in place for group gatherings once the shelter in place measures are lifted.

The LGRC coaching staff will continue to communicate with the athletes, send out workouts, and look for ways to keep the squads connected until we can return to rowing.
Once the shelter in place order is lifted and we are able to return to the boathouse, we will try to open the boathouse and restart our junior and masters coached programs as soon as possible as.
Stay safe and we hope to see you all back at the boathouse soon.
