Learn to Row Camp 1
Our week-long Learn to Row Camp introduces middle school and high school athletes (rising 6th–12th graders) to the fundamentals of rowing in a fun, supportive, and active environment. Athletes will learn the core skills needed to get started in the sport, including:
The camp runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This co-ed program is perfect for athletes who are curious about rowing, enjoy being active, and want to try something new.
Throughout the week, participants will train both on land and on the water, developing their skills in multi-person rowing shells under the guidance of experienced coaches and summer staff. Emphasis is placed on teamwork, confidence, and skill development, ensuring each athlete feels supported as they learn.
By the end of the week, athletes will have a strong foundation in rowing and the confidence to continue their development. Camp graduates are encouraged to advance to the Novice Development Camp (June 22- August 6, 2026, Monday - Thursday from 1:30 to 4pm). The Fee for the Novice Development Camp will be prorated depending on the athlete's start date.
