We have a variety of programs to select from including coached team oriented programs to non-coached individual sculling & recreational rowing programs. Rowers with experience who are new to LGRC and would like to join a coached program please contact Director of Rowing, Jaime Velez, at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss your skill level and experience.
There are multiple programs throughout the course of the year to prepare for different races. These programs focus on aggressive fitness and skill development aimed at producing competitive racing performance. The goals of these programs are to prepare teams to compete in specific regional racing events. In addition to local and regional regattas, the competitive masters have competed at Head of the Charles in Boston, San Diego Crew Classic, FISA Masters Championships (Europe) and Northwest Regional Championships. The coach will determine line-ups of boats for specific races, based on technique, strength, fitness and commitment.
Our Fall 2017 Competitive Masters Sweep Programs are underway.
